Help build a strong, supportive team culture this season! We’re recruiting Parent Group Managers for each swim group and welcoming helpers across a few key areas.

Parent Group Managers (New for 2025–26)

Goal: strengthen day‑to‑day communication, build community, and take a bit of load off our coaches.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate a WhatsApp group for your swim group (coaches will also post here).

• Share timely updates from coaches and the board with families.

• Organize team‑building moments through the season (e.g., group dinners at meets; occasional non‑swim activities like bowling or a movie).

• (Optional) Look into group hotel options, but please note: Parent Group Managers are not responsible for booking hotel rooms for the team or families.

Perks & points

• Receive all 20 volunteer points for the season.

• No officiating requirement when serving as a Group Manager.

Meet Officials

Support our swimmers on deck. Training is short, beginner‑friendly, and you can start with entry‑level roles.

Hospitality / Events

Help with potlucks, team dinners, and seasonal activities—perfect if you enjoy hosting or organizing.

Sponsorship Outreach

Connect local businesses with HSC. Securing $250+ in sponsorship waives your 20 volunteer points. A Gold sponsor ($2,500) waives both volunteer and officiating requirements.

Volunteer Requirements (Quick Summary)

• Each family completes 20 volunteer points (Swim School families: 10 points).

• Take at least one officials course and volunteer at a meet/time trial during the season.
  Swim School families are exempt from the officiating pieces.

• Families not completing/submitting requirements may be billed up to $300 at season end.

Prefer a single, high‑impact role? Be a Group Manager for your child’s group and your points are covered with no officiating requirement.

Fundraising Snapshot

• Each family prepays $200 for raffle tickets and receives $200 in tickets to sell.

• Optional fundraisers: FlipGive (shop and earn cash back), Spring Meat Fundraiser, and the HSC Swim‑A‑Thon.
